President
President Mike Jensen served 20 years in the Royal Canadian Navy as a Marine Engineer. Having sailed on both the east and west coast, deployments included multiple NATO and UN tours as well as Operation Apollo in Canada’s Afghanistan effort.
Vice President
Vice President Dan Draper served in the Canadian Army for 17 years. While in the artillery he was part of E Battery Paratroop, a unit within the Special Service Force in Petawawa. Dan participated in 3 NATO exercises, 1 UN tour in Cyprus and accumulated jump wings with Canada, Norway, Britain, Italy and the USA, having a total of 96 jumps. Dan also served in the PERI Trade as a fitness instructor.
Director at Large
Director at Large Greg Wing is a 13-year veteran of the Canadian Army. He served as a Land Weapons Technician with 2 Service Battalion, 1 Royal Canadian Regiment, 2 Combat Engineering Regiment in Petawawa, and at 22 Wing North Bay. Greg participated in Operation Athena Rotation 0 and Operation Apollo Rotation 2 in Afghanistan.
Treasurer
Treasurer Michael Kawa served as an Army Reservist with the 2nd Battalion Irish Regiment of Canada Infantry Unit while completing an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from Laurentian University.
Executive Assistant Chris Willems served in the Princess Patricia Canadian Light Infantry as an Infantryman. After a short time as a Patricia, he earned his para wings and volunteered to serve in the Canadian Airborne Regiment. Chris participated in a United Nations Peacekeeping tour in Cyprus. After his career in the military, Chris pursued a career in Corrections.
